Entering the State University's Architecture & Art faculty, he graduated in 1990. In this period he started as an autodidact in several subjects as aerography, fotography and computer design programs. Different workshops helped him in his development: drawing and painting with Juan Perdomo, sculpture with Ernesto Dellepiane, and landscape with Burle Marx.
He specialized in interior architecture, furniture design, ilumination design, mural painting, sculpture and digital design. In his travels he has gathered important knoledge of his work: from India he studied and applied the learning of vastu vida, vedics writings directed to the architecture and design of spaces in armony with the natural laws of the universe. |
Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, december 27th 1965, Gabriel Olivera starts his studies in the secular school Elbio Fernandez, at the early age of 3 until ending highschool in1984.
